Masterclass

The online masterclass event organized by Agricultural Marketing Centre takes place between 10:20-11:30. The invited guests can watch and listen to a presentation by Mr. Mihály Konkoly DipWSET. The presentation – complete with wine tasting – describes the Hungarian wine regions, the major grape varieties and provides insight into the diverse world of Hungarian wines through an exciting, colourful selection of wines.

Mr. Mihály Konkoly: “My career in the wine industry started back in 2001. Over almost two decades I was able to gather a lot of knowledge and experience. Before taking up my current position I had worked in wholesale and retail business. Today I am the marketing manager of a winery. I have always believed that scientific and technical expertise is vital in my job. I have a PhD in wine marketing. I am also a wine educator and journalist. As a well respected judge I am regularly invited to wine competitions.”
