„Sógor” Kadarka, 2019

Traditional technology, fermentation with indigenous yeast, no oak. A youthful wine displaying an intensive, spicy and complex nose. The spices lead into a palate that is fresh with red fruit flavours. It resembles a fragrant raspberry juice and is very easy to drink. Excellent Kadarka for every day consumption.

The label shows János Eszterbauer’s ancestors during harvest in 1935. Aszalai Sógor (Brother-in-law) (seen in the middle) emerged from this peasant family as a wine-merchant and he was always wearing ties even at harvest time. Szöszke Sógor, who is riding the horse, was the grandfather of the present winemaker, Laci Pálinkás.
